Hi, my name is Char. I support people who want to heal through authentic connection.
I am a first-generation immigrant, chronically ill, DACAmented, queer therapist with a background working with QT youth and emerging adults throughout California. My lived experiences deeply shape how I show up in this work, and I strive to create spaces that feel affirming, honest, and grounded in care.
I believe that connection is a fundamental human need and the foundation of lasting change. In therapy, I focus on building relationships rooted in trust, respect, and collaboration, where you can feel supported in exploring your story at your own pace.
A Few Fun Facts About Me
I have a doggo named MooMoo whom I absolutely treasure.
I share my home with many plants.
I’m a big fan of snail mail.
I have a fish tank with my favorite tropical fish, the kuhli loach.
I’ve always felt drawn to the ocean and bodies of water.
I engage in many different forms of art.
I’m a Leo sun, Capricorn moon, and Cancer rising.
I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to move through systems that were not built with you in mind. As a first-generation, DACAmented, queer, chronically ill person, I learned early on how powerful it can be to have even one space where you are truly seen and supported.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship. I am deeply committed to offering care that is culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and grounded in liberation. It is an honor to walk alongside people as they reconnect with themselves, their communities, and their sense of possibility.
If you are looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, honesty, and respect for your lived experience, I would be honored to work with you.
