Sessions are collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in emotional safety. Each session is shaped by your needs, goals, and capacity that day.
We usually begin by checking in about how you’ve been feeling and what feels most important to focus on. From there, sessions may include open conversation, reflection, skill-building, grounding practices, and exploration of relational patterns. Some days may feel more focused on processing emotions, while others may focus on learning tools or navigating current challenges.
There is no “right” way to show up in therapy. You do not need to have everything prepared or know exactly what to say. You are welcome to come as you are — tired, unsure, emotional, quiet, or talkative. We move at your pace, and you are always encouraged to share feedback about what feels helpful or unhelpful.
I work with adolescents (15+), adults, couples, and groups. I specialize in supporting BIPOC, Queer and Trans individuals, undocumented and mixed-status families, survivors of violence, and those navigating complex trauma and chronic stress.
I currently offer virtual sessions and limited in-person sessions, depending on availability and location. Please contact me for current options.
Yes. I am committed to making therapy more accessible and offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need and availability.
I currently hold two low-cost slots in my case load intended for TGNC BIPoC individuals and/or directly impacted people. These sessions are capped at 8-10 sessions per person. I will create a waitlist as needed. Please reach out if you have more questions.
